Books, Books, Books
Yikes. I have so many books that I have purchased in the last year to read and yet...here they all are (and I am sure there are more in a few other piles or drawers around the house) - still unread.
I have been so stressed this last year and have had so much on my plate that I just would tell myself that I "can't make time to read." Yet, I believe that is exactly what my soul needs. There is nothing better to me than to curl up in my big comfy chair and read a great book. So, starting now, I am going to set aside time each week to do just that - curl up with one of my neglected books and take the time for me.

I hate to admit how much I read. Four more books arrived via Amazon in the last 7 days and they are all about health. Act surprised, okay?
I am convincing that reading is good for soul. Today I spent a few hours with a mug of green tea and a book on Integrative Oncology. It was a great way to spend part of the afternoon. ;-)
What are you going to read first?
Ali
Hi, Ali. One of my favorite books of all time is The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz. So, the first book I think I am going to read is another of his books called The Fifth Agreement.....of course, I'm fickle, so I could change my mind! :) I have a 4-1/2 day weekend this weekend and so let the reading commence!
Hope you are doing well with Dan out of town...I'm happy that you have your 4-legged kids to keep you company! Do they miss Dan or act differently when he is away?
Lolly
Lolly,
Yay for a 4 1/2 day weekend! Good for you. Enjoy your free time.
I change my mind about things all the time too. Something tells me that is encrypted in female DNA. LOL
The house is quiet without Dan. The felines have not figured out yet that daddy isn't coming home. As soon as they do there will be a flurry of activity. Normally I don't sleep when Dan is out of town because the felines walk around all night long crying for daddy. It is cute, but annoying. ;-) Only a fellow cat mommy would understand.
talk to you later,
Ali
